In a desert land He found him, in a barren and howling waste. He shielded him and cared for him; He guarded him as the apple of His eye Deuteronomy 32:10 NIV
I don’t know what you are facing right now. Maybe you are in a position where the problems seem to be coming at you nonstop. No matter how hard you try, you seem to keep being bombarded?
Let me help you to try to see it differently. Do you know that God sometimes allows these problems? It means God knows that you are capable of handling it and He is in control of everything. He knows and sees all that you are going through. God has your back through it all.
Restored Relationships
I remember when we found out about my mom’s sickness. I had barely talked with my father on the phone before. But when we found out about my mom’s sickness, we started calling each other frequently to talk about my mom’s condition. After a while, I realized that we were getting closer than ever before. My mom still hasn’t got any better, but I’m so thankful for our family’s restored relationship.
We can stand together and support each other in any hardship. I have also got the chance to share about Jesus, talk about His power, His love, His presence, and even more to my family.
Last year, I was able to take them to a prayer mountain and we prayed together for the very first time. When people are experiencing hardship, they have a tendency to pray more and try to get help and strength. Jesus is the only one who can give this type of strength.
Even though our problems still exist, something has changed. There’s a peace that we have. Our faith in Jesus grows and our relationship gets stronger as we accept our situation.
God Has Your Back
Don’t be afraid. Keep pressing on and know that God has your back! I suggest you look for the blessing that may be in disguise and ask God to reveal it you. Those hardships won’t break you, instead, they will make you stronger.
Prayer
In a desert land, You found me, in a barren and howling waste. You shielded me and cared for me. You guarded me as the apple of Your eye.
I thank You for finding, loving, caring, and guarding me. I surrender my life to you. I put down every fear and worry at Your cross. Have Your way in me and take the wheel of my life for Your glory. In Jesus’s name. Amen.
